Our Mission

Changing lives through the transforming power of Christ.

Worship is what we give to God. It is a time where we give God that which is right, natural, and called for; namely praise and thanksgiving. When you truly come into the presence of God is it a life-transforming moment. Such encounters are relevant to all aspects of life. We become wiser, stronger, and most importantly more loving. Worship, while primarily God directed, is always beneficial to the worshiper. That kind of inspirational worship is the experience you will find at Ware's Chapel.

Core Values

Love God, change the world.

As part of the larger Connection of more than 12 million United Methodists around the world, we strive to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world.

Grounded

We believe in all Scripture is inspired by God, still warm with his breath. Our faith is guided by Scripture, tradition, reason, and human experience, although Scripture is paramount in serving as the witness to God's creating, redeeming, and sustaining relationship with us, his beloved and chosen people.

Wesleyan

The Chief Cornerstone of our faith is none other than Jesus, the Christ. We are also privileged to carry on the movement began in the 1700s by two brothers on a mission to revitalize the church, renewing its commitment to living our faith. We emphasize both the heart and mind while putting faith into practice.

Active

For more than 230 years, our Christian movement has expressed care and concern for all people. We seek to serve the poor, the orphaned, the aging, the sick, the oppressed and imprisoned. In the spirit of Jesus, we seek to meet all human needs - physical, emotional, and spiritual - especially the disadvantaged.
